Super Eagles Coach, Sunday Oliseh has denied claims made by former Nigeria
International Vincent Enyeama that he was ‘ humiliated and ruffled by security
personnel at the team’s camp in Belgium.
The Coach who spoke exclusively to www.footballlive.ng,stressed that Enyeama had made spurious
allegations on social media to smear and assassinate his character.Describing the scenario which led to the goalkeeper’s ejection from the team’s
dinner, Oliseh insists Enyeama became unruly and persistent on
airing an entirely different concern from the agenda arising from a poor
showing in training earlier.
A former captain of the team
himself, Oliseh pointed to the squad’s lean numbers in camp owing to visas
hitches with the Belgian embassy – 2 Goalkeepers of 4 invited and 15 players-
hence the coaches made exigency plans to invite players who did not require
visas to enter Belgium.
Former youth international, Dele Alampasu was handed a senior team call up; as the third choice goalkeeper and Enyeama will have none of it, informing the coach he’d leave camp since there was a replacement according to Oliseh.

Nigeria lost 2-0 against DR
Congo in the ensuing palaver in the Eagles Camp but Oliseh has called for
patience with the team as the commitment to ensure Nigeria qualifies for the
2017 Afcon was still atop the agenda.
