Is America ready for its first female president?

The former secretary of state of the United States,Hilary Clinton is expected to officially declare her second run for president on Sunday 12 April,2015 via video and social media. Clinton will be the first Democratic presidential candidate to declare for the 2016 presidential election, and is widely considered the frontrunner within the party.

In her previous presidential run in 2008, Clinton lost to the current president, Barack Obama, in part because of the Obama campaign's clever use of social media to draw attention to his candidacy and raise huge sums through small donations.

Her use of social media is expected to appeal to young voters, to effectively boost her chances to become America's first woman president.
