Is there ever a justification for rape?

The issue of rape is one of the most sensitive topics ever. While some people argue against rape of any form, for any reason, some people actually try to ‘look at it from both sides of the The victim and The attacker’.
I ran into a heated argument about rape on twitter this morning and I am appalled at the opinions of some folks about rape. Someone tried to justify rape by calling out women who dress indecently. I might sound very feminist right about now but I think any reasonable person would agree that rape is a horrendous crime.

Three very interesting points I culled from the tweet argument 1.Any indecent dressed lady should not be surprised if she gets raped. 2. If a guy spends money on you and you refuse to give into him, expect to get raped. 3. You cannot visit a guy in his house or hotel and think you can’t/won’t get raped.
So what happened to consensual sex? Wait sef, don’t men get raped ? Is it because they are indecently dressed too? While I don’t condone the rate at which indecent dressing/nudity has become the order of the day, I find it disheartening that anyone will try to justify a rapist for any reason- because he has been looking at half dressed women abi?
What about the fully clothed and well-dressed women who get raped? What about the women who get raped in their matrimonial homes? What about the 3 or 9 year old girls who get raped-where they also half –dressed? Does anyone ever stop to think about some of these weird things or am I the only one getting worked up here?
I strongly feel that there is no excuse for rape, ever. If someone is not consenting (and that includes being unable to consent, for countless reasons) then it’s rape! It’s just wrong, and that’s that, no matter who the raped person is, where they were, what they were wearing. And that should be where it ends.
What is your opinion about this anyway? Please share.
